This could be one of the more challenging reviews I have written to date. GRFS is a long awaited game for the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series – it has been eleven years since the first game, and five years since Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 – so essentially it should appeal to veterans of the game series or be a refreshing change for newcomers. This is about tactical warfare, and as far as current shooters are concerned, Ghost Recon Future Soldier is doing things a bit different. Read more…

When I got my Vita the game that I wanted to have a crack at the most was this one, Rayman Origins. After its PS3 version got the first 5/5 drop bear rating (and the only one so far) on this site when I reviewed it, I was extremely keen to see what Ubisoft Montpellier could do with it on the Vita. Assassin’s Creed 3 has been announced and a release date has been set for October 31st 2012. It’s set during the American Revolution in the 18th Century and of course it looks great. I can’t wait to find out more about this next story in the Assassin’s Creed universe. Read more…

Every now and then a great 2D platformer pops up in the gaming world. For example you might have read my review for Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken a couple of weeks ago which was one such game. Now Ubisoft are stepping it up with the fourth game in the 15 year old Rayman series: Rayman Origins; and I think calling it a great platformer is a bit of an understatement. Read more…
