PAX Australia, as known as the Penny Arcade Exhibition, finally hit Down Under on Friday July 19th, 2013, in not so sunny Melbourne. Filled with exhibitors, Q&A panels, demonstrations, and anything you can think of that is gaming and anime related. For us proud nerds and gamers alike, it is almost like Christmas in July. I was lucky enough to attend for DBG as media, alongside our own Matt, and got to prod, play, and chat with attendees and exhibitors.

Games studio Firemint today announced that it has acquired fellow Australian studio, Infinite Interactive. The move further boosts Firemint’s strength in designing and developing original games like fi.slotzo.com, while providing the Infinite Interactive team with a channel for independent publishing. Started in January 2011 by brothers Lucas and Matt, Drop Bear Gaming has been operating for over 7 years offering a fresh and relaxed perspective on the video game industry.
