Review – Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC

It seems like only last week that Revolution was released, and everyone was in the throes of hammering out challenges for the Peacekeeper, diving through toppled, gravity-confused skyscrapers in Die Rise, and hunting the sole human in Turned mode, apart from wiping out the entire population of Earth on Hydro, Downhill, Grind, and Mirage. As it turns out, that was right at the very end of February, and with a nice 2-month time period for gamers to pay up, blast some more people/zombies, and eventually go somewhere else, Activision and Treyarch have given us the second of four DLC releases for Black Ops 2. Now, I hear you asking “How does Uprising compare to Revolution?” and to answer that particular question, I offer one response – keep reading!

Review – Sim City

Arguably one of the best-known titles in gaming for many years, the new instalment proved its’ popularity with server hiccups upon release — the biggest ruckus on social media since Diablo III launched in 2012.  Launch problems aside, the popular city building title plays different to its predecessors and is an overall charming little package.  Sim City – the fifth instalment, is here.  At the time of publication, it seems to now be working fine too!

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

This could be one of the more challenging reviews I have written to date.  GRFS is a long awaited game for the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series –  it has been eleven years since the first game, and five years since Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 – so essentially it should appeal to veterans of the game series or be a refreshing change for newcomers.  This is about tactical warfare, and as far as current shooters are concerned, Ghost Recon Future Soldier is doing things a bit different.
