Nintendo have been hitting the front page of many sites and printed media this past week, but for all the wrong reasons. Publicity is expected at this time of year however, with many in the gaming community expecting big news from the company at this years E3.
Finally episode 15 is here! We discuss some news and have an interview with Aileen Bautista from Dinoroar about their new game Samurai Training, then Matt drops a monologue about L.A. Noire, and Susie has a chat about Lego Pirates of the Carribean. There were a few audio problems with this episode so if you notice anything odd please forgive Matt’s editting skills. We hope you enjoy the episode! (Episode 16 will be up in the next couple of days!)
As of a few hours ago the PSN Welcome Back Package has been added to the PSN Store. It is Sony’s first step in trying to appease disgruntled customers after the “Great PSN Outage of 2011” and personally I think it’s fantastic. It’s running a bit slow at the moment which is pretty standard considering the fact that a few million people are all trying to grab their free games straight away, so you may get error messages while trying to access it. It might be a good idea to wait a few hours before you hit it, so while you wait, here is a list of the games you can choose from and a few of the other perks you can look forward to. Read more…
About a week ago, I was in my local games store and having a chat (see: flirting shamelessly) with one of the employees when LA Noire came up. He hadn’t played it yet, but he was very keen to, and asked me how it was. My response?
“Heavy. Really heavy. But incredible. Love it.” Read more…
EB Games have just released an initial list of the publishers and exhibitors that will be at the expo. They will all be there across both days for all three sessions of the show. Read more…
In this weeks App Dance I have a few stats that I thought were worth a mention, I have been attempting to stream divx shows from the PC to the iPad with 2 apps available, playing a few games and using the iPad to read magazines.
Unfortunately on this week’s episode SiouxsieKate couldn’t join us, so it’s just Matt and Lucas. On the upside we are releasing an episode quick enough that the content is actually relevant! Yayyy! We discuss the PSN Welcome Back program, the announcement of the brand new Australian gaming convention EB Games Expo, and the Gears of War 3 collectors editions. We have kept the episode a bit short this week but we hope you enjoy it!
