So the next game in the Call of Duty series has been announced and it is of course Black Ops 2. Treyarch return to develop this one after the record breaking success of the original Black Ops and now this one is set in the future!

Black Ops 2 is a direct sequel to the original, set mainly in the year 2025. Some sections of the game will have the player returning to the hero of the previous game, Alex Mason, in the 1980s, however most of the game will be played as his son David Mason.

After the massive success of Black Ops it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that this sequel is on the cards, but that doesn’t change the fact that it will probably sell like gangbusters. It is due for release on the 13th of November 2012.
