2011 Season AFL Tipping Comp?

Here at Drop Bear Gaming we are very keen to build up our community so Lucas and I have been mulling over some ideas for getting more involvement from our listeners and readers. This morning I had a great idea and I want to see how many people would be interested in getting on board with it: running an AFL tipping competition for the 2011 season, free for anyone to join in.

At the end of the season there would be prizes like perhaps a $100 iTunes card, or a game for PS3 or 360, or something like that. Whether the prize would be just for the winner, or if there would be second and third place prizes or even random other prizes all depends on how many people get involved. At this point I am just trying to gauge interest in running something like this so let me know if you are interested!

Round 1 of the AFL season begins on Thursday March 24th which is 20 days away as I post this. If enough people show an interest then I will put details on the site allowing everyone at least a week to sign up for the competition, however there may or may not be a system in place for latecomers as well. That means I want to know numbers by the 16/17th of March, so please either comment on this post or on the forums. I’m excited!
