Arguably the most enjoyable portable game of 2010 ‘Game Dev Story’; a remake of the Japanese made 1996 title is receiving a sequel. However before that we are getting a new game ‘Waiwai! The Game Dealer’. This one places you in the stone cold front of the game industry, in charge of your own retail store.

The game has hit the App store in Japan and will hopefully spread and see releases across the iTunes and Android worldwide stores as translations are completed.

It’s reported that Kairosoft’s latest game will have many choices and scenarios for you to take charge of. Although not a lot of info is available at this stage, popular game blogs and news sites have suggested that you are in full control of the store with stock levels and sales to fill your time. Its assumed staff and food and beverage are also concerns. Also one report suggested sales and release events will also require you’re attention.

With the success of ‘Game Dev Story’ I am hopeful that the sales of the game reach levels that drive a translation and release outside Asia. Rest assured, we will watch this space with interest and report on any developments.
